Content Navigation

The ACORD 130 form plays a crucial role in the realm of workers' compensation insurance applications. This comprehensive document gathers essential information about a business, including its name, address, and contact details, as well as the nature of its operations. It also requests data on the business structure, such as whether it is a corporation, partnership, or sole proprietorship. The form includes sections for providing the estimated annual payroll, details about employees, and any prior insurance coverage or loss history. Additionally, it prompts applicants to disclose any unique business activities or risks that may affect their coverage. By capturing this information, the ACORD 130 form helps insurers assess the risk associated with a business and determine appropriate coverage options. Understanding how to accurately fill out this form is essential for business owners seeking to secure the right workers' compensation policy for their needs.

Similar forms

The ACORD 130 form is similar to the ACORD 125 form, which is used for commercial general liability applications. Both forms gather essential information about a business, including its operations, ownership structure, and coverage needs. The ACORD 125 focuses on liability coverage, while the ACORD 130 targets workers' compensation. However, both documents require detailed information about the business's activities, employee classifications, and prior insurance history to assess risk and determine premiums.

Another document that resembles the ACORD 130 is the ACORD 133 form, which is specifically for assigned risk applications in workers' compensation. The ACORD 133 is used when a business cannot obtain coverage through the standard market. Like the ACORD 130, it collects information about the business, including employee details and payroll estimates. Both forms aim to ensure that the insurer has a clear understanding of the business's operations and risks to provide appropriate coverage.

The ACORD 101 form, known as the Additional Remarks Schedule, is also similar to the ACORD 130. This form is often attached to provide extra information or clarifications about the business operations or coverage needs. While the ACORD 130 collects core application data, the ACORD 101 allows applicants to elaborate on specific details that may affect their insurance coverage, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of their needs.

The ACORD 140 form, which is a commercial property application, shares similarities with the ACORD 130 as both forms require detailed information about the business's assets and operations. The ACORD 140 focuses on property coverage, while the ACORD 130 is dedicated to workers' compensation. However, both forms assess risk by collecting information on the business's structure, location, and operational practices.

The ACORD 25 form, which is used for auto insurance applications, also has common elements with the ACORD 130. Both forms gather essential information about the applicant, such as contact details, business structure, and insurance history. While the ACORD 25 focuses on vehicle-related coverage, the ACORD 130 is concerned with employee-related risks, yet both aim to provide insurers with a thorough understanding of the applicant's needs.

In the realm of homeschooling, it is essential for parents to file the Colorado Homeschool Letter of Intent form, notifying local authorities of their educational plans. This vital form not only ensures compliance with state statutes but also establishes a foundation for the child's learning journey. For further assistance and resources regarding this process, parents can refer to Colorado PDF Forms, which provide the necessary documentation and guidance to streamline the homeschooling experience.

Similarly, the ACORD 27 form, used for commercial umbrella insurance applications, shares characteristics with the ACORD 130. Both forms require applicants to disclose information about their business operations, existing coverage, and claims history. The ACORD 27 aims to provide additional liability coverage, while the ACORD 130 focuses on workers' compensation, yet both documents help insurers evaluate the overall risk profile of a business.

Lastly, the ACORD 38 form, which deals with personal insurance applications, also mirrors the ACORD 130 in its structure and purpose. Both forms collect vital information about the applicant's background, insurance history, and specific coverage requirements. While the ACORD 38 is tailored for personal insurance needs, the ACORD 130 is designed for workers' compensation, yet both facilitate the underwriting process by providing a comprehensive overview of the applicant's situation.
